Who should take these classes?
Beginners… Folks curious about kayaking… Anyone who recently purchased a boat or is contemplating investing in a kayak… Perhaps some “self taught” kayakers looking to expand their skills… Anyone who wants to explore the sport of kayaking is welcome.
Features:
Price includes 2 hours of classroom instruction and a 2 hour on-water
lesson. If you do not have your own kayak, all gear and kayak will
be provided. Group size limited for each session to allow for maximum
attention and fun! Traditionally, the classroom session is offered
in the evening and the on-water session is offered either Sunday
mornings or weeknights. We’re flexible!

Coastal Kayak Educators staff members are ACA trained instructors who represent one of the most proficient and knowledgeable kayak instruction staff in the area. A few hours spent with the CKE staff in an instruction workshop will provide you with the skills necessary to safely and efficiently enjoy the sport of kayaking. Pre-registration is required for all classes and family paddles. All kayaks and equipment are provided by Coastal Kayak Educators.
